In the afternoon we will be developing what we achieved in the morning back in the studio. This will include printmaking, sculpture and painting.

Materials will be included in the price and some snacks provided although you will need to bring a packed lunch, sensible clothing and plenty of energy!

A very rough idea of what a day may involve:

  • 9.30am – Meet at the Art Department in the Donaldson’s Building and prepare for the day ahead.
  • 10.00am – Visit to a gallery, museum, sculpture park, studio.
  • 11.00am – Drive to drawing location, e.g Botanics, Forth Bridges, Port Seton.
  • 11.30am – Drawing on location and hopefully lunch outside.
  • 1.30pm – Back to the school to work in studio.
  • 3.30pm – Finish This is really flexible! For example, we may stay out all day and then work the next day in the studio.
