Steven was born and raised within the Dumfries area. Steven’s is an alumnus of University College London where he attained his PhD in Global Public Health. In addition, he was admitted as a Fellow to the Higher Education Institute. On returning to Edinburgh from London in 2019, Steven works within national/local public health policy and practice, in which he is affiliated to the University of Glasgow and Director of his own consultancy firm. He has worked within universities as a health educator and continues to be passionate about supporting inclusive person-centred learning.
Steven is a passionate local Stockbridge resident who enjoys performance arts and physical activity including the gym and rugby.
