Thursday 27 February

The eagle-eyed amongst our community might have noticed that we have a new structure – our Outdoor Classroom space in the area we call the ‘Wild Woods’. This all-wooden structure will make a phenomenal difference to what we can do in that area and will further enhance our practice in quality outdoor learning and sustainability. Next Wednesday will see us host colleagues from other SCIS schools (teaching P2–4) to discuss the sustainability agenda.

This weekend promises to be a busy one on the sporting front. We have children involved in a football match on Friday, rugby and hockey for boys and girls on Saturday, cross country at Belhaven on Sunday and hockey and a swimming gala on Monday. Good luck to all involved.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of accompanying our ski racers to Glenshee for the Alpine Championships. I will publish full results next week but was delighted to see Phoebe Osborne achieve a silver in the P1–4 girls’ race. I do believe that two of our teams have managed to qualify for the group finals: a wonderful achievement!

Kind regards
