Junior School Pantomime – Harry Potter

The Staff Panto was fun to watch. There was a Sorting Hat, a Quidditch match, a magical duel and the parents and pupils enjoyed it. What inspires you to do it?

“Well, everyone works so hard during the year and the panto is really good for the morale of the teachers and pupils at the school. It’s become an annual event and is inspired by different things throughout the year. For instance, I found this (points to cloak) outfit in a charity shop and thought, ‘Oh my goodness, that’s Voldemort, it has to be. We have to do a Harry Potter panto!’

Yes, there are a few props, and it takes a bit of work, but by the end you see all of the staff coming together having a laugh. The parents are so generous and the event really benefits our school charity. The kids really love it, too. It’s just a great event for the school and I look forward to it every year.”
