The Bands are back!
Music is filling the Academy air again! The Bands are back on campus and it’s all ‘bands’ on deck.
Well done to the Big Band for stoically keeping the music going during this long year through virtual platforms and remote group rehearsals. Thanks to Miss Long, Head of Wind, Brass and Percussion, for her creative thinking and endless support of our young musicians.
We also had the pleasure of welcoming the Junior Concert Band back, with them rocking the Theme from Jurassic Park in their first rehearsal in 2021. For some, it was their first time in an ensemble, for all it was great fun!
