Laura came to EA after a long and varied career with Royal Mail, joining initially as a graduate trainee press officer.  She undertook roles in PR, communications, operations and HR, where she became a senior manager holding regional and national roles. 

In her teenage years she swam competitively and played in several youth orchestras, affording her the opportunity to travel across Europe and North America.  This ignited a love of travel, and she studied abroad as part of her undergraduate degree.  After graduating from Glasgow University, she worked and travelled across Europe, the US and spent two years teaching in the Middle East. 

She lives in Edinburgh with her husband and two sons where she can be found either reading, baking or out walking with the dog.
