Silver Qualifying Expedition in the Tweed Valley

4 strong groups worked hard in challenging conditions to complete their 3-day expedition in style. The navigation was deceptively tricky in the lowland hills and all groups were relying a great deal on their navigation skills to meet the high standard of the assessing team. Each night was wild camping with no facilities in midge-infested Scotland and can make the toughest person quiver but not our pupils, they rose to the challenge and made the best of it! The talk on the bus on the way home was, however, of the benefits of running water, toilets and showers!
