Procedure

The Academy operates a second hand store for items of school uniform at which parents may if they wish sell or buy.

The Uniform Exchange opens on the first Wednesday and the first Saturday of every month. Until further notice the times will be 2.30-4.30 on Wednesdays and 9.00-10.30 on Saturdays.

Conditions of sale

Items offered for sale must be current school uniform, clean & complete. There should be no tears, holes, missing buttons or laces.

Name tapes should be removed.

Games footwear is accepted, but not gym shoes or trainers.

Sellers should attach to every parcel submitted a note of their name & address plus a list of every item included for sale. Parcels may be handed in to the Exchange or, preferably, to the junior school janitor's office or the senior school office during any school day.

Items deemed unsuitable for sale, or remaining unsold after one year, will be disposed of without reference to the seller.

Accounts

will be settled twice a year; 50% of the price each to the seller and to the EA Uniform Exchange Fund.

The Fund is used to purchase extra items of eqipment throughout the school. Suggestions for its allocation are welcome.
