This website contains a number of forms requesting information about personal details.
This information is needed to enable us to comply with requests from visitors to the site, including requests to receive a prospectus by mail, applications for places or scholarships and orders for merchandise.
The information will be used solely for the purpose of facilitating communications between The Edinburgh Academy or its associated bodies and members of the Academy community, including parents, prospective parents, other customers, pupils and former pupils.
We shall not sell, rent or transfer this information to any third party, with the sole exception of data relating to respondents who have specifically agreed that we may share it with St. George's School for Girls.
Data Security
For the security of electronically transmitted information it is of importance that the school is informed immediately if any e-mail address is changed or should be deleted from our list.
It is also important that where the e-mail address supplied to us is not a private one (for example if it is a business e-mail address) respondents take care to ensure that communications from the school are not blocked by firewalls or read by persons other than those to whom they are addressed.
Weekly News
A weekly news sheet is circulated by email to senior school parents and others. Every edition of News Sheet carries a reminder that subscribers should opt out if they no longer wish to receive it.
