A-Level 2007

This was our smallest entry for 20 years but nevertheless produced very good results.

The number of candidates gaining A grades passed 50% for only the second time ever and the 100% pass rate was previously achieved only in 2001.

Most pleasingly 10 out of 44 candidates who sat at least one A-level gained straight 3A’s while another 5 gained AAB.

Higher Grade 2007

At Scottish Higher Grade, our 2007 candidates obtained an 80% pass rate, with 60% achieving A or B. This was the largest subject entry for 9 years and the results overall were very pleasing, a tribute to the hard work of a large number of candidates and their teachers. One in three subject entries gained A grades - the third highest percentage ever.

Modern Language results were again outstanding with 71% A's. History and Modern Studies candidates also did particularly well, averaging better than B grades in both subjects. Congratulations to the P.E. candidates for achieving a 100% pass rate.
