The Music School
The music school is housed in a modern (1991) and purpose built home of its own between the main building and the Donaldson's block.
Although major concerts take place in the Hall, or an external venue, small concerts are regularly held here, and students perform to appreciative audiences during lunch breaks. The Robertson Room (below) is now the location for lunchtime recitals, whilst the building also includes a library and teaching rooms.
The importance of the music school
Tuition and rehearsal is important but may make a poor neighbour for regular classrooms. The availability of this separate facility is therefore of great assistance to everyone.
Music at Henderson Row has greatly benefited since 1991 from the provision of this fine facility, helping us to maintain high standards of music-making. The design is spacious and well suited to accommodate the needs of the large number of talented musicians.

The light and attractive atmosphere of the Robertson Room makes it a popular venue for meetings as well as concerts. Staff meetings are held here at the start of each term.
