Large training area

The senior gymnasium is a large self contained block with excellent off road parking. It occupies the entire upper floor of the block, with changing facilities on the ground floor. Facilities are available for badminton, basketball and five a side soccer. For safety all hirers of this facility must be suitably qualified and approved.

Out of school hours there are acres of space on all our sites for users' vehicles.

An elegant auditorium

The senior school assembly hall is a beautiful and unusual oval shaped auditorium,  entered through an imposing classical facade (main picture above).

The hall is 50 feet long in the floor well, which is surrounded by a raised walkway. It has a stage area at one end, and is equipped with a splendid pipe organ and a grand piano. 

The hall seats 300 in theatre format.  It has a modern kitchen, and toilets leading off the hall.  There is ample off road parking in the school yards.

Dance clubs etc

The Salvesen Room is a large bright room on the first floor of the Donaldsons Building in Henderson Row. It has direct access to outside via a turret stair.  The room is 38 feet by 33 feet and wooden floored.  It will hold 100 theatre style. Ideal base for keep fit / dance studio type classes,  meetings etc

Well equipped small theatre

The Watt Theatre has tiered seating and stage lighting, with a green room facility. With the seating removed the room is also useful for dance,  keep fit etc. It is a ground floor room with direct access to outside and parking.

Recitals and rehearsals

The bright and airy Robertson Room is part of the Music School on the Henderson Row campus.   It is the main recital room for the school and suitable for small performances and rehearsals.  It can also be used as an attractive meeting room.

A spacious theatre facility

Very accessible,  being off the main foyer of the school, the junior assembly hall is  57 feet x 41 feet,  with a wooden floor.  An additional 9 foot walkway strip round three sides is ideal for access.  There is a large stage at one end and a balcony  at the opposite end. The hall seats 300 in theatre format.  There is ample off road parking in the school yards.
