Lesley Paterson

My teaching career began in Dundee a number of years ago, where I taught in a number of local authority Primary Schools. I knew from very early on that I wanted to work with infants so took the decision to complete a post-graduate qualification in Infant Education.

I then move to Edinburgh where I took up an appointment at Clifton Hall Preparatory School, a position that required me to set up and market a new Nursery Department.

In 1990 I moved to The Edinburgh Academy, first as a class teacher and then as Head of Early Years.

When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my daughter and friends.
